บริษัท ชาญนครวิศวกรรม จำกัด ก่อตั้งขึ้นเมื่อปี 1968  ด้วยธุรกิจ การจัดสร้างถังก๊าซโซลีนใต้ดิน  ทางเราเติบโตอย่างต่อเนื่อง โดยมีการขยายงานทั้งทางด้านงาน วิศวกรรมการ ก่อสร้าง และ สถานีน้ำมัน ของ Shell  และ ESSO.ในปี 1980 บริษัทมีการจัดสร้างโรงงานใหม่ บนพื้นที่กว่า 6,400 ตารางวา บนที่ดิน ย่านรังสิต , จังหวัดปทุมธานี เพื่อที่จะขยายความสามารถการผลิต และให้ทันต่อการเติบโต ของตลาดอุตสาหกรรม ในปี 1990  บริษัทได้ปรับปรุงระดับความสามารถในทุกๆด้าน เพื่อโครงงานใหญ่ มูลค่ากว่า 100 ล้านบาท  โดยเป็นงานก่อสร้างสถานีบริการน้ำมัน กว่า 300 สถานี ทั่วประเทศ มีการก่อสร้างโรงงาน , การก่อสร้าง และการซ่อมถนน ทางเดิน พื้นที่เกี่ยวกับการก่อสร้างอื่นๆ เช่น การถมดิน, การเจาะพื้นผิวถนน , การสำรวจที่ตั้ง นอกจากนี้  บริษัทยังได้จัดตั้งหน่วยการบำรุงรักษา ที่ รัตน์นาธิเบศร์ จังหวัดนนทบุรี เพื่อจัดการ งานการบำรุงรักษา และ หน่วยจัดสร้างโครงสร้างเหล็กที่ บางบัวทอง นนทบุรี เพื่อสนับสนุนความต้องการ ที่เติบโตอย่างต่อเนื่อง โรงงานรังสิต นอกจาก การจัดสร้างถังใยเหล็ก ใต้ดินแล้ว ยังได้มีการจัดทำ  ไซโรสำหรับ ปูนซีเมนต์ และ ถังปูนสำหรับรถบรรทุก  ให้กับ บริษัท ปูนซีเมนต์ มหาชน , บริษัท ปูนซีเมนต์เมืองสยามจำกัด และ TPI Polene

จากประสบการณ์กว่า 30 ปี ในอุตสาหกรรมการ ก่อสร้าง บริษัทได้ก้าวสู่ การเป็นผู้นำด้านการก่อสร้างชั้นนำ ในประเทศไทย อีกแห่งหนึ่ง พร้อมทั้งได้รับการยอมรับ จากลูกค้าทั้งใน และ ต่างประเทศ

Channakorn Engineering Co.,Ltd. (CNE) was established in 1968 by Mr.Chanchai Thammaratnotai with the main purpose of construction underground gasoline tank,. The company then gradually diversified itself engaging in other forms of construction work, including gas stations for major companies such as The Shell Company of Thailand and ESSO (Thailand) Public Company Limited.

In 1980, the company built a new factory on 6400 square wah land in Rangsit, Pathumthani province in order to expand its production capacity to meet the rapid growth of the industrial market

Since 1990, the company has raised its capacity immensely, giving it the ability to handle large projects worth over Baht 100 million, as well as constructing more than 300 service stations throughout the country in addition, CNE is engaged in the construction of building plants, the construction and renovation of roads as well as established a foothold in other construction-related areas such as in soil examination units, land back fill units, drilling units, location survey and grading works. The company also founded a new maintenance unit in Rattnaathibeth, Nonthaburi province to handle maintenance work and a steel structure plant in Bangbuathong, Nonthaburi to support its ever-growing needs.

The Rangsit factory, aside from building underground steel fiber storage tank, also manufactures cement silos and assembles them on trucks, truck beds and trailers. Prominent customers include Siam Cement Public Co., Ltd. Siam City Cement CO., Ltd. and TPI Polene Co., Ltd.
